Halle & Edward’s Nostalgic Las Vegas Elopement at the Little White Wedding Chapel

There are elopements… and then there are elopements that feel like a scene from your favorite 70s romance movie, shot entirely on 35mm and kissed with a touch of Vegas weird! Halle & Edward’s nostalgic Las Vegas elopement was exactly that kind of magic: spontaneous, stylish, and full of soft mischief. From the Tunnel of Love to the neon-lit corners of downtown, this couple said “I do” in a way that felt entirely their own!

The Ceremony: Tunnel of Love, Cadillac-Style

We started off this Las Vegas elopement at the legendary Little White Wedding Chapel, where Halle and Edward tied the knot from the backseat of a bubblegum-pink Cadillac under a sky of painted cherubs. Just them, no guests, just love! Halle was all sparkle in her puff-sleeved dress and cherry heels, her pink heart veil floating behind her like a secret whispered to the wind. Edward, looked SO cool  in his black denim jacket and signature cap, held her hand like it was the only thing keeping him tethered to earth. They couldn’t stop smiling, especially Halle, who had booked me ages ago and never once let the excitement fade. Every second of this ceremony was joy-soaked and so tender!

Post-Chapel Plans: When the Desert Says No, Vegas Says Yes!

Originally, we planned to head to the desert after the chapel, cue the wind, the open sky, the filmic wide shots. But that day? It was pushing 95 degrees! We paused, sipped water, and pivoted. No stress, just flow. Here’s the truth: we always have a game plan, but we never force it. We adapt, we read the room (and the weather), and we create something just as stunning, if not better. For Halle & Edward, that meant swapping sand dunes for slot machines and letting the city become the backdrop to their unfolding love story!

Downtown Vegas: Artful Chaos & Champagne Kisses

We took a quick stroll outside before heading into the moody High Limits room at El Cortez. It was dark, velvet, and just dramatic enough to lean into their artsy vision. They wanted film that felt experimental, so we played, double exposures, blurred lights, reflections that made them look like they existed in parallel dimensions of love. And then, those light leaks. A few unexpected frames at the end of the session turned into some of our favorite shots. Proof that film has a mind of its own, and that imperfection is often the whole point!

Their Style: Contrast & Connection

Visually, Halle & Edward were a dream. Her soft pink glitter, his noir-ed-out vibe. Together, they looked like a love letter written in ink and sealed with lip gloss. The contrast only made their connection shine brighter. He never took off that black jacket, signature look, no compromises. She never stopped smiling, through the vows, the portraits, the sweltering heat. Honestly, I couldn’t take a bad photo of them if I tried!

Client Love

Straight from Halle (a literal ray of sunshine):

“AHHHH I LOVE THEM THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“I cannot say enough how wonderful it was working with you, you really enhanced a special day and we appreciate how much care you put into your work. Thank you again, these are beautiful!”

Halle & Edward’s nostalgic Las Vegas elopement reminded me, yet again that the best stories are hardly ever rushed. They’re built moment by moment, with hands held tight and hearts wide open.
