There’s something about black and white film that just feels like forever. No distractions, no filters, just love in its rawest, most timeless form. Sarah and Liam’s vintage Vegas elopement at The Little White Chapel was exactly that: effortless, elegant, and full of real, cinematic emotion. They asked for the entire gallery to be shot in black and white, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better match. Between the classic Vegas backdrops and the film’s soft grain, every frame feels like a love letter to old-school romance.

The Ceremony at The Little White Chapel
Inside The Little White Chapel, everything felt still, like time had folded in on itself. Sarah walked in wearing a short, off-the-shoulder dress and veil that looked like it was pulled from a 1960s bridal magazine, while Liam kept it sharp in a black tux and bow tie. The soft light, the draped curtains, the flicker of quiet smiles between them, it all came together in this suspended, silver-toned moment. There’s something about black and white film that heightens emotion, you don’t see colors, you feel them. And that’s exactly what made this part of their vintage Vegas elopement so moving. Every look, every laugh, every small gesture, it’s all right there, preserved like an old movie reel you never want to end!

Post-Ceremony Magic at The Little White Chapel Drive-Thru
After they exchanged vows, we wandered outside for photos under the iconic Little White Chapel signs, the ones that have seen decades of love stories before theirs. The weather turned a little gloomy, and a few raindrops started to fall, which only made the photos better. With an umbrella in hand and film rolling, Sarah and Liam leaned into the moment, dancing, laughing, and soaking it all in.

Downtown Vegas, Monochrome Edition During A Vintage Vegas Elopement
From The Little White Chapel, we headed downtown, past the neon glow of El Cortez and the worn brick walls that tell stories of their own. Sarah slipped on her sunglasses, bouquet in hand, and together they turned the streets into their own black-and-white dreamscape. The thing I love about shooting black and white film is how it strips everything back to feeling. You notice their laughter more. The way his hand finds hers. The way she tilts her head mid-laugh. Downtown Vegas became less of a backdrop and more of a heartbeat, a reminder that love doesn’t need color to be vivid!

Why Black & White Film Just Works
This gallery proves that black and white isn’t about losing color, it’s about gaining depth. It brings out texture, movement, and emotion in a way that digital or even color film sometimes can’t. For Sarah and Liam, it gave their elopement that old-Hollywood, caught-between-now-and-then kind of energy that fits Vegas perfectly. If you’ve ever considered shooting your session in black and white, this is your sign. Especially for elopements that carry that vintage, soulful feel, like Vegas does so well, it’s pure nostalgia in every frame!
