Ashley & Ian’s chic Las Vegas elopement unfolded under the Vegas lights like a slow-burning reel of vintage film every frame cool to the touch, but made with undeniable heat. She brought the drama (in the best way): a lace mini dress, statement heels, and a veil that felt like it belonged in an editorial spread from 1984. He brought the quiet confidence, the grounding energy, the kind of presence that knows when to lead and when to just let her shine. And shine she did.

Ceremony at the Chapel: Where the Glamour Began
Inside the Little White Wedding Chapel, the white walls wrapped them in calm. No guests. No noise. Just the two of them and a kind of steady focus that made time stretch out in the best way. Ashley walked down the aisle in her fitted lace dress and veil, bouquet of red roses in hand. She didn’t just walk, she owned that aisle. Ian stood at the altar in a sharp suit and that soft smile you can’t fake. Their vows were simple. Honest. And exactly what this kind of love calls for: no extras, just everything that matters.

Downtown, Fremont, and the Neon Glow: A True Chic Las Vegas Elopement
After the ceremony, we stepped into the night and let the city do what it does best, set the scene. Downtown Las Vegas always feels like a time capsule, but with these two in the frame, it was pure fashion-forward nostalgia. We wandered from the Four Queens Hotel & Casino to the Carousel Bar in front of the Plaza, down Fremont Street and under the “VEGAS” sign all with a camera bag full of film and a vision for something moodier, more intentional. They didn’t want silly candids or over-the-top poses. What they wanted was energy, elegance, and images that felt like them. So that’s exactly what we made.

Serious Faces, Soft Glances
There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when a couple lets go of the performance and just settles into the mood. Ashley was effortlessly poised every movement deliberate, every pose like it had something to say. Ian was her match in every way grounded, supportive, and fully there for her glow. They opted to add 120 film to their package, and it was the perfect choice. That extra texture, the richness of medium format it gave the more editorial moments that nostalgic bite. The kind of images that feel like they belong in a time-warped photo album you’d stumble on in a thrift shop and never forget.

The Experience Was Theirs. I Just Helped Shape It.
What I loved most about this session wasn’t just the location or the film (though both were killer). It was how clearly these two knew what they wanted: something tailored, something chic, something that felt real without needing to perform joy. That’s why I always send out a questionnaire before each elopement to get on the same page about vibe, pacing, preferences, and dreams. Ashley & Ian’s answers told me everything: they weren’t chasing chaos or clichés. They wanted to feel like themselves. And they wanted to look damn good doing it. So we made space for that.
